Love this thing
Overall this travel case for the Nintendo Switch 2 does the job pretty well. First off it comes with extra items including screen protectors which is nice. My Switch 2 was able to fit in the case with no issues. There is also space below to put your charger plug and cords too. Having pouches for your games is nice too and the zipper compartment can fit a few more items.Though the size is basically a loaf of bread its still very reasonable, etc. You won't be able to fit your dock or pro controller inside but with only the basics you should be fine with spare nun-chuck controllers. Inside compartments are soft so it shouldn't scratch up anything. Overall the price for this is solid and very happy.
The carry case is perfectly fitted for the Switch 2 unit, which will make it difficult to add a casing with grips. If you do not have any accessories in the zippered pocket, above the unit you can close the case with little worry to the joycon sticks being pressed down while in the case. At the same time, the case is not very sturdy. I can push down on the center of the case when closed. Would not recommend placing heavy items on the case, or try to squeeze the case into a tightly fitted bag. Otherwise the inner material feels soft and do not feel any concerns of the unit being scratched while inside the carry case.Just under 7 inches, the bottom compartment can hold the official Nintendo Switch 2 joycon grip and still allow the Switch unit to seat well in the case. You still have a bit more room to fit in a cable or two, but will struggle to fit the official power adapter. You will need to consider a 3rd party, compact, GaN adapter up to 60 watts (any higher wattage can harm the unit) with cables that are also rated up to 60 watts.The case has a soft fabric front flap that can hold up to 12 switch 1/2 games. The additional 8-cartridge case is a nice addition, but the screen protector and cleaning kit is not the best of quality. The provided cleaning fabric left fibers on my unit, which made it take longer to clean, and force me to use my own microfiber cloth.The adhesive to the screen protector guide stickers are not very strong; The tempered screen protector had its bottom film more adhesive than the guide stickers, and when removing the bottom film, the screen protector came off the guide stickers. I had to remove the bottom film, then carefully place it back on the guide stickers, then realign the protector while securing the guide stickers on the side of the unit (joycons removed prior to the process).Because of time to install the screen protector, despite a clean environment, dust and fibers in the air caught under the screen protector were made obvious when laying the protector onto the Switch 2 unit. Had to re-lift the protector a couple of time to remove as much dust, let alone realign. In the end still had a few dots on and around the screen. Annoying when screen is off, but not so obvious while viewing or playing a game with a bright background.The carry case is good overall. Would have given it full scores if the upper part of the carry case was more stiff/sturdy. Otherwise when carrying the unit and core accessories, the case (good grippy handle by the way) provides a nice way to travel with your Switch 2.
It's really quite useful as it has enough space to store the switch 2 and multiple accessories. And unlike some other cases it has enough depth so it close when stuff is placed into zipper compartment as well as a compartment underneath the where switch 2 stores where place more accessories.
I love the case, its stromg, durable and the inside has more of a felt material that I like. A well made case
